Darnell Grisby

Over a twenty-year career shaping national and state policy, Grisby’s leadership has consistently demonstrated that design choices directly dictate community trust.

As the former Executive Director of TransForm, Mr. Grisby championed community mobility hub development, uplifting justice; at the Beneficial State Foundation, he led the state’s Clean Vehicle Assistance Program, providing working-class families with non-predatory loans and downpayment assistance to put electric vehicles within reach. Throughout his earlier career at the American Public Transportation Association (APTA), he supported major equity and ballot initiative campaigns across the country to advance economic mobility.

Today, Mr. Grisby provides executive advisory and strategy consulting for mission-driven organizations and is a past chair of the Commission.
