Staff Training and Development

Allied with one of the Commission’s 2021-2026 Workforce and Succession Plan initiatives, the Commission is committed to training our workforce and building internal capacity to foster transportation equity continuously. In July 2020, all Commission staff, including executive leadership, participated in a training series on diversity, equity and inclusion. In August 2020, staff began participation in the Capitol Collaborative on Race and Equity, which is a year-long immersive program, led by the Strategic Growth Council, that provides training and support on racial equity to participating state agency staff.
