2018 California Transportation Commission and California Air Resources Board Joint Meetings

Pursuant to Assembly Bill 179 (Cervantes, 2017), the Commission and the California Air Resources Board (CARB) will meet at least twice a year to coordinate implementation of transportation programs and policies.

Meeting Purpose

The purpose of these meetings is to coordinate the implementation of transportation policies, including interagency efforts, which include, but are not limited to, implementation of the California Sustainable Freight Action Plan, development of the California Transportation Plan, and the setting of greenhouse gas emission reduction targets for the automobile and light truck sector for 2020 and 2035.

Meeting Information

The Commission and CARB will hold at least two meetings per calendar year in various locations across the State. Information for the first two joint meetings is provided below. These meetings are separate from regular Commission meetings but will be coordinated to occur immediately before or after a Commission or Board meeting to the extent feasible. Agendas will be available at least 10 days prior to the meeting.
