Senate Bill 1121 (SB 1121)
Senate Bill 1121 requires the California Transportation Commission, in consultation with CalSTA and Caltrans, to prepare a needs assessment of the cost to operate, maintain, and provide for the necessary future growth of the state and local transportation system for the next 10 years.

The Interim Transportation Needs Assessment is due to the Legislature on or before January 1, 2024.
The Completed Transportation Needs Assessment is due on or before January 1, 2025, and every 5 years thereafter.
