The Commission is dedicated to creating and promoting safe, affordable, and efficient transportation for all Californians, especially those who have been systemically underserved or marginalized due to their race, mental or physical ability, gender identity, or sexual orientation.

The Commission will actively work to provide space for diverse perspectives, and will continue to refine existing programs and develop new policies, where appropriate, in an effort to prioritize equity in the transportation planning process.
