Equity Advisory Roundtable

The Commission has convened an Equity Advisory Roundtable (Roundtable) to elevate diverse perspectives in the transportation process and enhance relationships with community-based partners. The Roundtable brings together equity experts, practitioners, and community leaders from throughout the state to collaborate with Commission staff over a series of virtual meetings to develop recommendations to the Commission related to specific equity activities. These activities include: the development of an Equity Advisory Committee; feedback on the forthcoming Community Listening Sessions that the Commission will hold in partnership with Caltrans and the California State Transportation Agency; incorporate best practices for engagement with residents, community-based organizations, and tribal governments into the Commission's meetings and program guidelines; and consideration of how to translate feedback from Community Listening Sessions into meaningful change.

The 2021 & 2022 meeting dates and times are as follows:

  • Meeting #6: Tuesday, March 29, 2022
    • Agenda March 29 | Meeting Minutes March 29

Roundtable meetings will be broadcast live to encourage those who are not Roundtable members – such as other advocates, government staff, and members of the public – to participate in discussions and provide meaningful input. The perspectives of the Roundtable members will be centered in these meetings, and Roundtable members will be provided the opportunity to respond to any public comment.

All meetings will have live Spanish and American Sign Language interpretation services available. Should you need additional assistance, please contact us at (916) 654-2162, or CTC at webmaster@catc.ca.gov
